My Reaction to Megyn Kelly’s Anti-trans Commentary

Megyn Kelly, contrary to her current commentary, was never  a Trangender Ally at any time in her past and she she just simply didn’t vocalize a time ago any strong  position as the forefront of her conservative agenda. But now she decided to make it her talking point. 

Megyn believes that transgender community has an agenda that is abusive to children. I strongly disagree with this narrative. 

On Youtube comment replies, I elaborated on my reaction to Megyn by comparing with actual high profile cases of concern and clarifying how unfounded these claims are in the actual trans gender community. Here is a rough copy of that:

If you want to look at whose hurting kids look at USA Gymnastics Larry Nasser and Epstein, look at those who have a history of luring kids, look at those who download obscene materials involving kids,   These aren’t predominantly drag queens who read stories to families in libraries and bookstores in costume , these aren’t transgender people , these aren’t Pride marchers, and these aren’t Allie’s of LGBTQ,  we are supporters of love and kindness and we don’t have an agenda to force any child to change their gender.  We have friends who are gender dysphoric which means that they for life, for sustainable happiness and joy, (not for games nor for role-play nor for trying to ‘get somethin for nuthin’)  … are genuine identifiers of a gender not conforming to their sex, and they mind their business, support others who understand them, support all the other aspects that make the rest of us less understood for being different,  and most importantly work in the community to offset hurdles others face especially due to the crackdown and bullying trans individuals face.   

About me: I am an Ally for LGBTQIA 🏳️‍🌈. I am married, I have 2 children, we are a nuclear family of 4.  I am a cis male and my wife is cis female.  I don’t have to be defending LGBTQ for my own survival, but I have morals, integrity, and a conscience and I have openly examined all sides of the issue and have heard just about every argument,  and I love my kids and I also rescue animals,  and I am a very very very strong ally of the LGBTQ community and that includes transgender rights and it also includes the rights and freedoms for children to have access to gender affirming care using the best practices and guidance established by international medical associations and behavioral health providers.  If we can achieve better quality care for gender dysphoria we can oversee the work of medical providers, not draw blanked conspiracy theories and blanket ban medical procedures without any medical expertise.  I am disgusted by the legislative bans taken by states all under a same agenda that claims to protect children without listening to any children nor dissenters, or claims to protect parental rights but not the parental rights of the LGBTQ community, or claims to “let kids be kids” but without allowing their preferred nicknames nor identities nor perspectives matter, I let my kids be kids and that includes not being helicoptered away from walking into rainbows. My kids are happy kids and my child’s school has a diverse student body with one of the kids who is particularly kind to my child whose parents are 2 moms. 

Blue states are not repelled by gender affirming care, that’s because propaganda does that to a society, not the reality of what’s going on.
